One to one professional coaching
Professional Coaching provides a space to ‘stick your head above the parapet’. You will have time to think and reflect, and with the help of the coach, you have the opportunity to produce remarkable results for yourself and your working life. Coaching is designed to help you improve, develop and learn new skills, find personal success, achieve aims and manage change and personal challenges.
Our coaches provide a safe and creative space in which you can master your goals and overcome obstacles. When you are sufficiently relaxed and motivated you are able to resist the anxieties and distractions that interfere with clear thought. You are able to concentrate and focus all your attention on the important and everyday tasks at hand.
In lives where spare time is a rare commodity, coaching provides you with a supportive and creative space to reflect and plan.
What is the role of the Professional Coach?
A coach is not an expert who will fix your problems; rather they are experienced guides and facilitators. Based on equality and respect, ECF Coaches are non-directive and focused.
Individuals benefit from this positive relationship where the coach listens, motivates, supports and challenges. A coach can help in the big stuff of life like realising a life’s ambition or dream, like finding an inspiring job, managing a great team and the everyday important stuff like finding solutions to problems and working through difficult times.
Is Coaching for me?
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from coaching. In fact you may be experiencing success and just wish to develop further. Some people find it a rich and transformative journey to learn more about themselves and tap into a deeper source of creativity.
Sometimes when faced with challenges or frustrating situations, we can become stuck in old patterns of behaving and we find it difficult to see any solutions to problems.
How many coaching sessions are needed?
Coaching is a one to one relationship and usually lasts for about 4 sessions. Usually meetings are face to face, and the sessions are held in Cardiff. However, coaching can also be conducted over the telephone or internet.
