Coaching Training (Stage 1)

The course is designed to train participants in the techniques of:

  • Life coaching
  • Management coaching
  • Executive coaching
  • Youth coaching

Day 1    Kicking off with Coaching

  • Do you want to become a professional, independent coach, or maybe you want to use coaching in your current work.
  • Gain a grounding in the key principles that all coaching shares, whether that be executive, management, youth or life coaching.
  • Learn some of the basic principles of coaching and experience what it is like to coach and be coached.

Day 2    Stepping into the Coach's Shoes

  • Learn and practice some of the fundamental skills of coaching.
  • Identify a clear and easy to use framework for your first session as a coach.
  • Try out skills in creating a coaching relationship with focussed and relevant outcomes.

Days 3 & 4    Up and Running & Performing as a Coach

  • Two lively, practical training days will equip you with the ability to use a range of coaching techniques to take you through your first six sessions as a coach.

9.30am – 4.00pm

Fees per person:

£760 +VAT (£640 +VAT early-bird)

70% off:

This course is eligible for 70% funding from the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government. Eligibility criteria applies.

Accreditation:

To gain stage 1 accreditation with the ILM, candidates must also attend the Consolidation of Theory & Practice  accreditation day.
