Meditation in the workplace

The overall aim of this workshop is to learn some simple meditation techniques which can be used in the workplace in order to reduce stress.  In most traditions, the purpose of meditation is to understand the working of the mind, so that in daily life, one can be happier and affect others positively. This workshop will focus on some of the core techniques which can help us in our daily lives.

By the end of the session participants should be able to:

  • Understand how to generate a positive awareness of breathing
  • Locate where we feel stress in the body
  • Practice staying in the present moment
  • Understand how to use meditation techniques to reduce stress in the workplace

Pre-requisites:

This session involves breathing and stretching exercises. Please bring loose comfortable clothes. Other equipment will be provided. 

Duration:

2 hours. Can be combined with any other ecf training product

Participants:

Group of up to 20

Location:

Venue of your choice, or arranged by ecf training
