Team Building - One Day
This one day course aims to build on existing working relationships to develop cohesion and unity as a group with the ultimate goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the team as a whole.
The course is very interactive and incorporates several participatory exercises including an opportunity to understand team development by utilising the Kubler-Ross Cycle, NLP Communication techniques, and the ‘Desert Island’ Decision Making exercise.
By the end of the day the team should be able to:
- Identify and understand team roles and responsibilities
- Assess the relationships between the team and rest of the organisation
- Identify team issues and concerns
- Build on individual strengths in relation to rapport and communication
- Establish some goals for the future and a set of action points
- Understand the impact of change on a team
- Understand the nature of perception and self-perception in teams
Pre-requisites:
This course is suitable for existing and newly formed teams from all sectors. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Duration:
This course can be delivered over one full day, or split into two half days.
Participants:
In order to achieve the full benefit of the day, we advise that the team should be between 8 and 20 participants.
